Drone Racing League World Championship

Drone racing is the sport of the future. The Drone Racing League (DRL) combines the thrill and speed of pod-racing from Star Wars with the real world adrenaline-filled racing of Formula 1, featuring the world’s greatest drone pilots racing custom designed drones in excess of 130 KPH through insane 3D courses. This September, DRL will bring the excitement of professional drone racing to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for the very first time with the World Championship race hosted at the King Abdullah Economic City (KAEC). On Friday, 14 September, 2018, join DRL and the world’s greatest pilots to see the sport of the future in person! Fans attending the Championship race will get an up-close view of the drones, the course and a chance to watch the most elite drone pilots battle it out for the title “World’s Greatest Drone Pilot”. The event will also feature a Fan Zone with on-site activations, entertainment, food, drinks and so much more. The DRL Season will broadcast this autumn in more than 75 countries on leading sports programs including OSN.
